After the jump, some photos from Sunday's 7-4 win over the Utica Comets at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.

If you missed it, here's a recap of Sunday's game.

Alex Lyon was a busy guy Sunday in Utica, using his quick glove to snag anything that came near his way.

Lyon made some incredible saves from his stomach to rob some Utica Comets shooters too.

Lyon's 43 saves were a career high. His 21 wins have him 3rd among goaltenders in the AHL this season. Strong rookie season to date.

Sunday's game was a chippy affair, particularly in the first period. It seemed like there was a post-whistle scrum at the end every shift.

Cole Bardreau wore the alternate captain A in Utica Sunday. He also capped the scoring at 7-4 with his 8th goal of the season - an empty netter in the waning moments of the third period.

Scott Laughton has been getting a ton of defensive zone starts. Certainly relied upon heavily by Lehigh Valley to be a sound two-way player, kill penalties, late-game situations, etc.

Injuries and call ups at the forward position have opened things up for Mark Zengerle to take on a larger role in the last few weeks.

Chris Conner has been on a scoring tear. The small and speedy winger has been especially elusive down low and in the corner.

Robert Hagg is playing with a world of confidence right now. Here he shoots...

Here Hagg scores. Sunday marked the first multi-goal game of his pro career. Hagg has four goals and two assists in his last seven games.

Hagg wasn't the only defenseman lighting the lamp in Utica. T.J. Brennan tallied his third career pro hat trick, making AHL history with his empty net tally late in the third period. Brennan moved into 2nd all-time in the AHL for goals scored by a defenseman, with 130 goals now in his AHL career.

At the end of the day, the Phantoms managed four out of six points on the three-game weekend - battling some adversity overcoming their first three-game losing skid of the season with injuries starting to pile up on them with 24 games left on the season.
